We are continuously working to improve ways to better serve you and improve our office efficiency.

We have recently joined up with SureScripts and local pharmacies to transmit your prescriptions in a more efficient, timely and error proof manner.

For New Prescriptions: Prescriptions will be sent directly from our computer to the pharmacy's computer. This way, the prescriptions should be waiting for you at the pharmacy when you arrive.

For Refills: You should call the pharmacy for refills, NOT our office. The pharmacy will send us and electronic request which can be sent much faster than waiting for that telephone call. If there is a reason we cannot refill your prescription we will relate that to the pharmacist.

Participating pharmacies in our area include& CVS, RiteAid, Giant Eagle, Eckerd, Kroger, Safeway, Target, Walgreens, WalMart.

Many of the small local pharmacies are not yet participating. Please do your part and encourage them to learn more at www.surescripts.com.

More Info on Pharmacy, Medications and Refills:

Refills: Dr. Rosenberger will prescribe and provide enough medication and refills to treat the condition until your next scheduled appointment. If you miss your follow up appointment and have exhausted your medication supply, you may not receive further refills without a follow up visit. Under NO circumstances will we consider refilling a prescription if it has been over one year since your last appointment with Dr. Rosenberger.

Pharmacy Isssues: If your pharmacy denies the prescription or if the medication requires prior authorization, you must actively participate to help us in this process. PLEASE NOTE that prior authorization may require as much as two weeks. Although we actively address these requests each day, we have no control over the insurance company procedures and lengthy authorization processes.
